REACH + OCTO documentation is not professional business advice, technical consulting, or system architecture advice.

You are solely responsible for your implementation decisions, including:

  • Workflow design and automation scope
  • Data accessed via REACH sources (Outlook, SQL Server, git, browsers)
  • Actions taken via act arms and prompt gates
  • Security configuration of scheduled tasks and signal files

2. No Guaranteed Results

REACH + OCTO provides patterns and principles, but:

3. Framework Limitations

Windows Dependency

REACH and OCTO are designed for Windows environments and rely on COM Interop, Windows Task Scheduler, and WinForms. They are not designed for macOS or Linux.

Live System Access

REACH reaches into live systems — Outlook, SQL Server, git, browsers, desktop applications. You are responsible for ensuring REACH has appropriate access and that actions taken via act arms are reviewed before execution.

AI-Generated Code

REACH compiles .reach files to C# via Claude. All generated code should be reviewed before running in production environments, particularly for act arms that change system state.


4. No Affiliation

REACH + OCTO is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by:

  • Anthropic (Claude AI) or any AI provider
  • Microsoft or any tooling vendor
  • Cloudflare or any infrastructure provider
  • Any academic institution or research body

REACH + OCTO is an independent methodology developed by Semantic Intent.


5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Semantic Intent and its contributors are not liable for:

  • Unintended actions taken by REACH act arms
  • Data loss or corruption from automated reaches
  • System access issues arising from REACH source connections
  • Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages
